Whiz kid and the Mr English

Today, I am going to compare myself with that boy you see in the newspaper on February 13th 2005. He is none other than Li Ke Wei. I just can't believe it. China kiddies are lording over us. I always thought that they might not do so well as their English will pull their results down. But EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!!!!!!!! He is goood in every subject!!!! So perfect.

Similarities:
1. We both borrow books from the library.(what a copycat)
2. We are of the same age.(why does he always copy me)
3. We are both boys.(not again...)

Differences:
He sets realistic targets and strive to achieve them.
I do not set targets or maybe sometimes although I don't really try to achieve them.
He reads one book per week.
I read three books per week.(yes, I won him once at last)
He does not wear spectacles.
I wear spectacles.(is that a good or bad thing, huh?)

(what is it anyway)
He likes Singapore because he has the chance to win us, Singaporeans. But in China, he doesn't have any chance as people do better than him. That proves how low the standard is here. Boohoo. So sad.
Me? I like Singapore because I have competitive peers who are not tooo hard for me to compete with and not too easy.

I feel so "dui lian" and "malu" comparing myself with that boy you see in the newspaper on February 13th 2005. Hopefully, in a few years time...Singaporeans lord over China people! Yeah!!!!
