Entrepreneurial fair
Hi! Everybody.
The entrepreneurial fair was mainly about raising funds to help the less fortunate people. Well...The primary sixes set up stalls to raise funds. The stalls were decorated with coloured paper and drawings of their "product". There were many stalls and they were selling a wide variety of things. They included mugs, can cranes and badges. Games included darts and balls. The service of the stallholders were good and in fact, maybe excellent! Some had free delivery right to the class(it was a bit disturbing). They used creative ways to publicize their products or games. A boy who was selling lollipops came to me and asked me to buy a few! One of the prefects even threatened me to buy his product!!!The ball-throwing game was good. They gave away balls as prizes.
The can cranes stall was very good. I liked the can cranes that they were selling. It was really very nice and quite creative. They used drink cans and made them into cranes. It was good! But too bad, I did not bring money that day...(sigh)
Something bad about this fair was that the stallholders actually PULLED people to their stalls. I hated it!!! They kept on promoting their products without stoppng.
To improve the fair, the stallholders can maybe make more of their products so that they will not be out of stock. They should welcome the customers when they patronize the stalls.
IfI am given an opportunity to set up a stall, I would set up a stall to promote the Habits of Mind. I would make magnets or maybe badges to promote the different habits. I would draw symbols of the habits to plubicise my stall. To increase sales, I would give stickers to people who buy the badges or magnets.
I would rate the fair FOUR STARS OUT OF FIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!One star gone because of the prefect who threatened me. :)hehe

Hey, you've got cool ideas. I like it. I'm also a little disturbed by their hard sell techniques but it is really effective. I mean if people don't come to you, you go to people. At least it creates awareness of your products and there is no loss at all even if customer reject you. Better than not having them not noticing your products at all. You are right, their service is really good. I'm rather impressed.
I dun quite agree they were good. This is my pathectic story... ...
Jia Min ,Lee Jimg and me were unhappily shopping the shops were low class.(more like the pasa malam!)One seller kept bugging on us. We denied and tried to run, she gave chase. One of her friends approached her, she turned her head, and we took this golden opportunity and RUN for our lives.(we escape!)
