1 in a day, ENUF !

The experience was horrifying, terrifying, MUMMIFYING !

I was on a coach towards Parkway Parade. Into the bus I went, how empty it was ! I even thought that it was my lucky day. Who would have thought that there was a reason behind the emptiness.....If I had known, I wouldn't have even stepped into the coach. I saw a man in a red tee n shorts, with earpieces in both his ears. He looked normal enough, but of course I didn't care whether he was normal or not. I sat opposite the man with my sister, while my parents sat in front of him. Just as the bus started, the man suddenly shouted, " Die ! Go and die !" I thought that he was talking to someone over his handphone, but it didn't seem right.
"Die ! Mati ! Die !" he roared. All the while, he was slapping his lap to a typical rhythm, which made it more freaky.

All the while, I was looking out of the window, terrified and not daring to see him. At last, I mustered my courage and took a glance at him. Who would have thought that our eyes would meet... "What? You want to die is it? Die ! Die ! Hahaha !" he raged. I was utterly terrified. I looked away quickly, with thoughts running wild in my head. Could he be armed with a chopper? Would this be the last day of my life? I kept looking out of the window while the lunatic was ranting and raving at the top of his voice, while slapping his lap. Finally, the coach reached. I was in a delimma. I thought that there was only 1 exit, at the front. I didn't expect there was another exit at the back of the bus.

Should I get out of my seat first? But if I do, he will be behind me. He might stab me in the back. But if I don't , he would pass me and might also stab me. Wishful thinking on my part. When the doors opened, the man got out through the back door. I heaved a sigh of relief. There was another exit ! I got off the bus and continued my life, hoping never to see such a person again.

Batam Batam Batam S'pore still the best!

I just came back from Batam a few days ago. Only then did I realise that Singapore was still the best although the things were more expensive.

I gained a few facts about birds while I was in Batam. Cuz there were a few birds locked in cages in the hotel we were staying in. There was an owl named Pugguk, a black bird that can say Hello, 2 parrots or smth lyk that n a few other birds. The owl was the most interesting among all. When we went to see it in the day, we saw it staring at us with its yellow beady eyes. It blinked once every minute or so. When it blinked, I saw that its eyelids were purple. Then, my sister n I did an experiment. I read in a book before that an owl's head can turn its head 360 degrees. I did not believe it but since an owl was in front of me, I tried it out. My sister walked slowly around the cage n the owl turned its head, staring at her every second. Finally, my sister made a complete round around the cage. Surprisingly, the owl's eyes never left her. Which means that an owl can turn its head 360 degrees. Cool! I noticed that the owl never moved its eyeballs becuz they r tubular in shape.

Well, there was nothing much in Batam, only shopping complexes. We went to 2 shopping complexes while we were there. 1 was MegaMall, and the other, DC Mall. The things there were really cheap. The things were sold in rupias. 1000rupias=$0.20 So we went on a shopping spree n bought many things for our frenz in singapore. But since most of the people there spoke in only Malay, we had difficulty communicating with some of the stall owners.

From this trip, I learned some malay n some bird facts n saw the beautiful scenery there. This widened my perspective of owls...
Batam is really cool ! No wonder PCK is best in Singapore, best in JB and some say Batam!

Missing but Found

It is found ! The crazy n mad lunatic hamster has been found after a few hours of searching ! The prize money goes to myself for finding it in my study room..But we decided that this was not the place for Mochi. So we ended all our troubles by doing something to it. Not killing but selling it to the Pet Safari nearby. Our troubles did end. No more chasing after a hamster on 4 legs. No more having to decide which food to buy for that agile hamster. No more having to clean the cage every 3 days. But now.....I kinda miss it. Its nice shiny fur....its cute position when sleeping.
I wonder if we made the right choice by selling it........
Byebye hamster. I must let u know that i miss u.
