Haiz....I just can't understand why my hamster, which my sister just bought 2 weeks ago can escape from the bar cage. The distance between each bar of the bar cage is about 3cm. He/She can actually squeeze through it! Just yesterday, when we got home, we found it in my room.
After much difficulty, we caught it and brought it back into its cage. We were all really puzzled. How could it escape from the cage when the opening at the top was sealed with scotchtape? By the way, it can really climb, just like my previous hamster. So if we did not tape the opening at the top, don't be surprised to find it out of the cage. Well, back the the story. After I put it back into its cage. It went out again. How? By sqeeeezing out of the cage through the narrow bars. I put it back, it went out again. So, to prevent it from escaping, I put the whole cage in a big plastic bag and as for the top of the cage, I placed a white board on top, leaving a small opening for air.

Neither would I excpect that it could excape. This morning, it was not in the cage. There was no hole in the plastic bag and the white board did not seen to be moved. Don't tell me it escaped through that small opening at the top of the cage. Isn't it incredible? My previous hamster could not even squeeze through the bars. Anyway, we searched the whole house thoroughly but could not find it. We suspect that it sneaked out of the house through the gap between the door and the floor which was about 5cm wide. I think this hamster eats slimming pills to help it escape...

Worse still, in the void deck of my block, there are a few stray cats that we always see. So as you can expect, Mochi could have gotten eaten...

I really hope that it is safe in a kind person's hand now...

The meet with the Woman

The 'debate' with Mrs Wee was so exciting and so challenging. We were all quiet when she spoke. The issues discussed were very meaningful. The way Mrs Wee answered our questions was terific. She could counter-attack each question that we asked. She shared with us some experiences which were quite interesting. What Mrs Wee said helped us alot and she warned us about our future. If we do not study hard now, I can't imagine how my future will be. She also told us something that really interested me. She told us about the chocolate story.

A scientist placed 2 toddlers in a room. He gave each of them a chocolate and told them,"I am going out for a while. When I come back and the chocolate is still in your hand, I will give you another chocolate. Sure enough, the toddlers' reactions were different. When the sciebtist left the room, toddler 1 ate the chocolate but toddler 2 did not. So when the scientist came back, he gave toddler 2 another chocolate. People like toddler 2 will achieve much in life. Mrs Wee also told us that our getting 230 as our aggregate is as good as getting 210, 190. That really captured my attention.

I agreed with some of the things she said. For example, regarding the fitness corner in our school. Still, there were some things that I disagreed with her. Like why on special occasions like Racial harmony day, we cannot wear our cultural costumes. I think that on these occasions, we should be allowed to wear cultural costumes or even home clothes.

The meeting was really very challenging. I really enjoyed it! Hope we can go up close again!

BGR

At first I did not want to touch this topic. But now, since I am all alone at home, nothing to do, and since I heard it, I shall just voice my views.
BGR....is not suitable for me and you, age so young. Maybe when you go to Secondary 3? Then you can go on a mini date. Like go out and catch a movie or whatever. So, age plays a part. Now, you should be concentrating on your studies and not junk like BGR.
But...I was surprised when I heard a primary 4 boy saying to another," Look! My gf!" He was pointing to a girl who was walking home. !!! Wow! He actually said that he had a girlfriend. You like her? I am sure you won't tell anyone, or maybe you will, but you won't even call her your girlfriend. But this boy......wow.
That was not all! The boy who was listening said," What about (another girl's name)?" Guess what he said. You'll never guess it! "No lah! She's my EX." Jinkies! It's bad enough to have a girlfriend, he even has an ex-girlfriend. Don't forget he's only 10.
Anyway, now is not the time for BGR. You know what? I ever seen teenagers kissing in public, on the MRT train, or even the void deck. Anyway, that's bad behaviour.
Byebye!

Exam week

Exam is just tomorrow. What to expect? Good grades are all that I want. The well-prepared will be full of confidence. The ill-prepared will have butterflies in their stomachs. But you must always remember, whatever grades you get depends on how you prepare. You reap what you sow. All the best to your exams !!!!!!!!!!!!!
